Justina Adams

Ms. Justina Adams, Owner and Assistant Director of Florida Dance Gym, brings a unique blend of passion and expertise, honed from years of teaching and even owning her own dance gym in Maine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a Minor in Dance from the University of Maine, which means she understands little dancers like no one else. Her extensive background in early childhood education, including certifications to teach VPK through Grade 8, four years at Ascension Day School (a local Clearwater preschool), three years specializing in 1-on-1 instruction for children with behavioral and autistic needs, a year of Primary Montessori teaching, and four years as a Summer Camp and After School Counselor, ensures a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Complementing her educational credentials, Ms. Justina boasts 15 years of dance teaching experience at both recreational and competitive levels, was a member of the UMaine Dance Team, danced one season as an NBA Gatorade Dancer, and performed for two seasons as a Company Dancer at Danceworks Boston. This rich combination of dance artistry and child development knowledge allows Ms. Justina to create a truly enriching experience for her students. And just like our flamingo mascot, she believes in finding balance, grace, and a little bit of fun in every dance step!
